Government Khurshid Girls Inter College will now be shifted to the building vacated from the Rampur Public School (RPS) Girls Wing of SP leader Azam Khan, who is lodged in Sitapur jail. The government has issued orders in this regard. After which the exercise has been started by the Secondary Education Department.
BJP MLA Akash Saxena had complained to the government that Rampur Public School was running in the old Murtaza Higher Secondary School allotted to Azam Khan’s Jauhar Trust. It was said in the complaint that the conditions on which this building was allotted to the Trust were not being followed.
During investigation the complaint was found to be true. After which the state government had canceled the lease of the education department’s land allotted to Johar Trust. After which the building of RPS Girls Wing was vacated by the Secondary Education Department on November 9, 2023.
Now the Government Khurshid Girls Inter College located in the fort complex will be shifted to this building. The government has issued orders for this. Additional Chief Secretary Deepak Kumar has said in his order that 46 rooms of the old Murtaza Higher Secondary School building should be transferred to Government Khurshid Girls Inter College. After completion of this exercise, the government has also been asked to submit a report.
The old Murtaza Higher Secondary School building was allotted to Jauhar Trust on lease. In which RPS Girls Wing was operating. Due to violation of lease terms, the lease was canceled and the building was vacated from RPS. Now Government Khurshid Girls Inter College will be shifted to it. SP leader Azam Khan had allotted all the government buildings of Rampur in the name of his organization for his personal interests. In that too the conditions of allotment were not being followed. After which the government has decided to cancel the lease and shift the Government Khurshid Girls Inter College. ITI will be shifted to the building of Jauhar Research Institute: MLA
MLA Akash Saxena says that the ITI building located in the fort will be shifted to the building of Jauhar Research Institute. Rampur Public School (Boys Wing) was functioning in this building. Its lease was also cancelled.
After which this building was also vacated last year. At present this building is vacant. Soon talks will be held with the government to shift the Government ITI College to the building of Jauhar Research Institute.
